Our Aftercare Parenting Education Program supports clients living in the greater Charlotte area who have completed our Maternity or Sarah’s House programs within the last 3 years. A Crittenton social worker conducts home visits and helps clients maintain a safe home environment for their children and healthy relationships. The social worker provides support, counseling, and resources for the healthy development of both the child and mother.
Objectives & Outcomes

Infants are current on immunizations
Children reach their developmental milestones
Participants have no substantiated cases of abuse or neglect
Parents are able to pay their bills and maintain housing

Prior to discharge from our residential programs, we create a plan with clients to best continue serving them once they are living independently.
