Charlotte, NC (September 16, 2023, 6:30-10pm) — The Second Annual Women Supporting Women Gala hosted by Fellow Traveler Counseling and Toshkova Fine Art Advisory will take place at Bazal Art Gallery and Lounge on September 16th. The gala is held annually to raise funds for Crittenton, a Charlotte non-profit that supports pregnant women experiencing homelessness, parenting teens and their babies in foster care, and teenage girls aging out of foster care. Through healing, hope, and empowerment, this essential organization creates a pathway forward by providing a safe and healthy environment for clients and their babies. Crittenton provides a safe space to learn parenting skills, provides mental health and substance abuse services, job skills, assistance with housing, and much more.
The 2nd Annual Women Supporting Women Gala is an opportunity to celebrate and build awareness around Crittenton’s mission and contributions to our community. The event includes a silent auction featuring some of Charlotte’s favorite local businesses’ goods and services, delicious food and open bar, 360 photo booth, networking opportunities, and dancing at the Bazal Gallery Nightclub at Charlotte’s NC Music Factory from 6:30-10 pm on September 16th, 2023. This event is black tie optional attire. Tickets are $175.
Host, speaker, and media guru Ohavia Phillips will emcee the evening.
As a community, donors can provide the vital care that pregnant homeless women, teen moms and their children, and adolescents in foster care desperately need. All proceeds will support Crittenton’s operational costs including supplying basic needs, access to medical care, educational services, vocational training, trauma and mental health support, and life skills training for youth and young mothers. All donations will further Crittenton’s mission of breaking generational cycles of poverty and family dysfunction by empowering mothers to improve health and life outcomes for themselves and their children.
